An endowed fund is a major gift to an
educational institution. These funds are
distinguished from other funds because
the original capital itself is preserved
indefinitely. The institution depends
solely on the fund revenues.
Our endowed scholarship program
guarantees the education of our less
privileged students. Increasing this fund
has always been a priority at IC to keep
student diversity intact. The income
generated from this fund goes to cover
part or full tuition of more than 600
students every year. Every year, donors to
this fund are given the names of students
who are receiving financial aid.
Donors may request specific criteria (a
minimum grade-point average, financial
needs, grade level, etc.). IC does its best to
respect the criteria when applicable.
